Yes Spring is here and I have naturally decluttered my cupboards. I’m an eternal declutter-er. I’m slightly obsessive when it comes to cupboards. However taking time to declutter my mind – that doesn’t come so naturally. So taking Marie Kondo’s principals,  I take my mind, room by room. What segments/rooms, make up my life: work, personal growth, health, relationships, family and friends, money, travel, joy. In these areas, I then mind dump ‘by room’. Where is my energy going? What is holding me back? What is my thinking in these areas? Is there habitual thinking? What is repetitive? What is toxic or unhelpful? Do any of these thoughts bring me joy? If so they can stay. And if not then they can be released.

Once I’ve done all the areas – I do a floor plan of my house. Of all the things I want in my mind.

I am now free to choose who/what thoughts, I let into my home. I have tidied my mind. My hope is I’ve created more space for positive and creative thinking.
