Wednesday 10th May
Allelujah! I mean honestly, I ‘ve felt so shitty the last couple of weeks and to feel this vibrant is a relief. Love my life. I just took a clothes delivery. That’s got to help. And I want to clear out a bunch of old clothes even more. Just get rid of them. I don’t need them and let’s be honest, the girls won’t want them. They’ll be smelly and yellow. Did you know clothes do that? Yeah I kept them in a box and last week I took them out and they had yellow stains all over them. No joke. I couldn’t sell them to a cow, even if I wanted to. So, they go in the bin right? Not even a charity shop will want smelly stained clothes. I can’t bear it. I’ve realised I must just sell it all on eBay with the view that if it doesn’t end up in a landfill but actually maybe it’s a lot less hassle to just charity the stuff given I’m only rattling change in my pocket. Must sell my bike – no I’m going to donate it back to the Elephant bike guys. They can collect it. Its my ode to charity – keep the finances flowing.
These morning pages have to be a min word count of 500. I’m half way. This is like climbing a fucking mountain. Why do I do this? Oh, because I believe I can write. Right. And somebody out there, has the time to read this, maybe while on the shitter. I’m getting sweary. Yeah it’s a slog. Of course I’m gonna get fucking sweary. I’m out of breath, I’m huffing and puffing, wading through treacle and it sucks. Okay fine, being in my head sucks. There, you’ve got it. What am I on now?
No this has to be some kind of a joke. Not even another 200. I swear to God this should not be this hard. This is called out of touch, out of flow, painfully…grizzly. I could just look at my phone. How many words now? This is worse than my kids saying are we there yet? Another 100 to go.
Okay, now I’m clicking my fingers and rocking on my stool, swaying my hair – I’m in the vibe, I’ve got this. All of this, why, because I can see the finish line. This is literally what this has been about. Oh, booyaka – this is my life. This is a metaphor for my life…always, always focused on the fucking finishing line. I didn’t want or need to swear there but in the name of packing a punch I couldn’t let go of that extra F. Anyway on that note – Over and out Fred Astaire. Its been nice talking to you. A demain! Adios amigos! Whooa xxx
